55 Broadway
Along with many classic art deco London Underground stations, Charles Holden designed the headquarters of the then London Electric Railway Company, now TfL. 55 Broadway is a perfect example of one of Westminster's portland stone clad buildings, with the interior retaining many original art deco features. The building caused controversy due to the commissioned modernist nudity laden sculptures by artists including Eric Gill, Jacob Epstein and Henry Moore.
