Broadcasting House
Now a grade II listed building and the BBC headquarters, Broadcasting House was opened in 1932 and designed by an ensemble of architects and designers headed by George Val Myer and including Wells Coates, architect of the Isokon Building. The building features sculptures by Eric Gill, most famously Prospero and Ariel about the main entrance, as controversial as his sculptures for 55 Broadway due to the naked and generously proportioned Ariel.
